Up front, the honest disclosure: Canyon Hills is technically in Lake Elsinore, not Menifee. But it borders Menifee, it's on every relocation buyer's search list, and the lifestyle is almost identical to newer Menifee communities. So I include it.
Overview
Canyon Hills was developed primarily by Pardee Homes (same builder as Heritage Lake) starting in the mid-2000s. It is enormous — over 1,500 acres — and has more amenities per square foot than almost any community in the region.

- The Canyon Hills Marketplace retail center is right inside the community

Is Canyon Hills Right for You?
If amenities matter to you above almost everything else, and you don't care about the city line, Canyon Hills is hard to beat. It's the wrong call if you specifically need a Menifee Union School District boundary or if HOA + Mello-Roos load is a concern.
Thinking About Canyon Hills?
I work this border constantly — I can tell you which side of which street is in which city and district, which matters more than buyers realize.
